Michael A. Noto

Michael A. Noto, as Senior Vice President of the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT , is responsible for ensuring that the company’s operations, finance and leasing departments provide its clients with quality property management services, timely management information and a wide array of leasing services. Mr. Noto received a Bachelor of Arts degree and a M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers University and a law degree from Pace University. Trained as a bank officer at Chemical Bank, Mr. Noto spent 13 years as a banking executive with several banking institutions. His responsibilities included commercial and real estate lending, credit administration and the management and workout of tens of millions of dollars of real estate assets. During his 17 years as a practicing attorney, Mr. Noto was directly involved in the financing, management, acquisition and disposition of millions of dollars of real estate involving numerous transactions. He is a member of the Florida and New York Bars, as well as the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Florida, the Middle District of Florida, the Southern District of New York and the Eastern District of New York.




Brian R. Dunlay

Brian R. Dunlay, Vice President - Finance of the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT, directs the company’s financial services, accounting and administrative activities. Mr. Dunlay’s professional career began in 1990 in public accounting. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University in Pennsylvania and obtained the Certified Public Accountant designation in 1993.




David E. Horwitz

David E. Horwitz is Vice President Leasing since 2003. He is responsible for all aspects of leasing and marketing the companys full portfolio of properties and the leasing/marketing team. Mr. Horwitz previously worked as Regional Leasing Manager for Developers Diversified Realty Corp. in Cleveland, Ohio where he was responsible for leasing a 4 million square foot portfolio of retail centers throughout the Midwest. Mr. Horwitz is a graduate of Kent State University, with a Bachelor of Business Administration.




Thomas E. Hancock

Thomas E. Hancock, Vice President Asset Management joined Health Care REIT, Inc. in April, 2006 and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of the company’s asset management program throughout the central and west regions of the United States. In this role, Mr. Hancock is responsible overseeing leasing and management operations for over 2.5 million square feet of property across 13 states. Prior to joining Health Care REIT, Inc., Mr. Hancock was General Manager for Crown Properties where he was responsible for operations of all its Indiana properties, including leasing, property management, maintenance, construction and accounting. Mr. Hancock earned a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in accounting and corporate finance from Ball State University, and has been an active member in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) for over 15 years. He is also a member of the local Institution of Real Estate Management Chapter, where he has chaired several committees, and has held the positions of Vice President and President. He obtained his Certified Property Manager designation in 1993, and has held a real estate sales license since 1988.




Roy J. Stefanowski

Roy J. Stefanowski, Vice President Asset Management of the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT is responsible for all aspects of the management and leasing for the medical office buildings located throughout the Florida and eastern regions. Prior to joining Health Care REIT, Mr. Stefanowski spent 11 years in the medical real estate industry with DASCO Companies a national medical real estate development and management company where he was a Senior Vice President responsible for development, leasing and client relations throughout the eastern United States. Mr. Stefanowski is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Real Estate.




Sharon Bradley

Regional Property Manager - Western Region

Sharon Bradley is the Regional Property Manager, Western Region and is responsible for over 1.5 million square feet comprising 27 medical office buildings in 6 states. In addition, she oversees 15 employees. Ms. Bradley has many years of medical property management experience, as well as commercial and retail. Prior to joining the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT in 2002 her management portfolio included Class A medical office buildings in Scottsdale and retail properties in Phoenix, Arizona. She has a diverse background, which includes management in marketing, advertising and publishing as well as construction and safety program writing, retail ownership and management. Ms. Bradley currently holds her Real Estate License in Arizona and is a member of the Greater Phoenix Chapter of BOMA.




Karen Darcangelo, RPA, FMA

Regional Property Manager - Central Region

Karen Darcangelo, RPA, FMA, Regional Property Manager, Central Region, is responsible for approximately 1.3 million square feet comprising 30 medical office buildings in 7 states. Joining the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT in 2001, Ms. Darcangelo brought many years of hands-on experience in medical property management and facilities operations. She holds dual designations as a Real Property Administrator and a Facilities Management Administrator through the BOMA Institute. In addition, Ms. Darcangelo comes to us with 17 years financial accounting experience.




Grace Racine

Regional Property Manager - Eastern Region

Grace Racine, RPA, joined the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT as the Regional Property Manager, Eastern Region, with over twenty-five (25) years real estate and asset management experience. Grace is currently responsible for approximately 1.3 million square feet of medical office buildings (MOB) servicing the eastern region from Atlanta to Niagara Fall, New York. Ms. Racine has managed over three (3) million square feet of commercial offices from garden through class “A” high-rise and mid-rise office buildings. She also has a multitude of experience in managing retail centers totaling 1.5 million square feet during her career. In addition, Ms. Racine has extensive experience in the development and management of prestigious mixed use projects that have included hotels, retail centers located on Rodeo Drive, California, athletic facilities, restaurants, and parking garages.




Gail Wallner

Regional Property Manager - Florida Region

Gail Wallner is the Regional Property Manager, Florida Region and is responsible for the operations of approximately 1.2 million square feet comprising 37 medical office buildings from Ocala to Coral Springs, Florida. In addition, she oversees a support staff of over 20. Mrs. Wallner has over 12 years of extensive medical property management experience, the majority of which she spent as an Area Property Manager in Florida for Healthcare Realty Services, Holladay Properties and Lincoln-Harris CSG. Prior to managing medical space, Gail was the Association Manager for a 927-unit residential condominium project in Boynton Beach, Florida. She holds both a Florida Real Estate license and a Community Association Manager license.




Tom J. DeSiato

Tom J. DeSiato, Director of Human Resources for the Management Services Group of Health Care REIT. Mr. DeSiato has 25 years of varied human resource experience, the majority of which he gained while working at Florida Power & Light Company. Mr. DeSiato has also worked in retail, automotive and government. His responsibilities have included recruiting and employment, compensation, training and employee/labor relations. Mr. DeSiato graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
